Show Synopsis/ Producer Notes for 'As It Is In Heaven':
"Set in the 1830s, a religious community of Shakers in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky is changed when a non-believer has an ecstatic experience. Based on true events in the history of the Shakers, this play explores the impact that generational shifts have on established traditions and ways of life.  “’Tis a gift to be simple,” sing the Shakers of Pleasant Hill, but as the young women in the community claim new spiritual gifts, Sister Hannah and the other elders must judge whether these gifts are authentic or the product of rebellion. Set during America’s surge of Utopian communities, this play wrestles with themes of belief and doubt in a swiftly changing world."

Show Synopsis/ Producer Notes for 'The Bench & the Bard: A Moot Court Series by Kenai Performers':

"The Kenai Performers will host a. moot court oral argument performance based upon a legal scenario adapted from William Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar". Co-sponsored by the Kenai Peninsula Bar Association, this event features a panel of local lawyers and retired judges who will hear appellate oral arguments involving a criminal conviction entered against Mark Antony for the felony crime of riot under an accomplice liability theory.  At issue is whether the Roman citizens who heard Mark Antony's funeral oration for Julius Caesar engaged in conduct satisfying the legal elements of riot, and if so, whether Mark Antony can be lawfully convicted as an accomplice to such a riot."
